Iraqi authorities say a suicide attacker killed 16 people and wounded 35 others at a Sunni funeral in Baghdad today.
Police officials said the evening attack took place when a suicide bomber detonated his explosive belt inside a tent where a Sunni funeral was being held in Baghdad's southern neighbourhood of Dora.
Medics in a nearby hospital confirmed the casualty figures. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorised to talk to media.
