IRBn jawan commits suicide in Arunachal

An India Reserve Battalion (IRBn) jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself from his service rifle on the NH-415 between Nirjuli and Banderdewa in Arunachal Pradesh, police said today.
The body which was recovered yesterday has been identified as that of Ajit Sono, a constable of the 4th IRBn Special Task Force.
Sono was missing since November 9 and a missing diary was lodged by the company commander of STF with the Banderdewa PS on Thursday evening.
Capital SP Dr A Koan said Sono allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself from his service rifle. Two bullet marks were found at the head and neck of the body, he said.
