Ireland Baldwin's mother motivated her to start modelling

Model Ireland Baldwin has revealed that her actress mother Kim Basinger motivated her to try modelling.

The 17-year-old blond beauty, who has many offers lined up, says she might not have become a successful model if her mother had not encouraged her, reported E! online.

"She thought it would be good for my confidence because I never thought of myself as a pretty girl," she said.
