It felt like a punishment: Amy Schumer on attending Met Gala

Actress Amy Schumer says she hated attending the Met Gala event.

The 35-year-old comedian revealed that star-studded fashion event was far from fun but rather a punishment for her, reported People magazine.

"It's people doing an impression of having a conversation... I don't like the farce.

"I got to meet Beyonce and she was like, 'Is this your first Met Gala?' And I was like, 'It's my last.'"

The "Trainwreck" star said she kept wishing she was elsewhere because she does not have any interest in fashion.

"I don't like it. I have no interest in fashion... I don't care. I don't think it's stupid; there's no moral reasoning... It's (fashion industry) just not my thing.
 

"I just have this sense of entitlement that I should be able to feel comfortable at all times, like I could go to bed at any moment in what I'm wearing," she added.
