A student of ITI Ambala was today crushed to death allegedly by a Haryana roadways bus here following which enraged pupils blocked the road and pelted stones at the police.
According to police, the deceased, Simaranjeet Singh was going Industrial Training Institute (ITI) on his two-wheeler to deposit fee when a local bus of Ambala depot ran over him near the institute.
Singh, a resident of Pretnagar died the spot, they said.

Police said the driver of the bus fled from the site after the accident and a case of negligence was registered against him.
