J-K Govt constitutes DLCs to identify unauthorised colleges

"These committees shall identify and furnish information in respect of the district falling within their territorial jurisdiction every year by April 15 to Director, Colleges, who shall compile and prepare the consolidated list by the end of April of the same year," an official spokesman said.

The spokesman said the government has also ordered that in respect of year 2011-12, the committees shall identify the unauthorised private collages, educational institutions and furnish report to Director Colleges latest by October 15 to facilitate further action under rules.
