J-K Legislative Council condemns ceasefire violation by Pak

Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, which met here for the six-day Autumn session, today condemned the ceasefire violation from across the border in which two civilians were killed and six injured.

"The House condemns the cross-border firing incidents across the state in which several civilians were killed recently," Chairman, Legislative Council, Amrit Malhotra said.

He said the House offers condolences to the families of those who were killed in the firing.

Pakistani troops fired at the Indian posts along the International border in Jammu on Saturday killing two civilians and injuring more than six people including a BSF jawan.
