J'khand Govt allots Rs 12.23 crore for Shravani Mela

The Jharkhand government today allotted Rs 12.23 crore for the month long 'Shravani Mela' in the temple town of Deoghar.

Development Commissioner Amit Khare said over Rs 12.23 crore were sanctioned for successful arrangements and facilities for devotees, an official release said here.

Directions were given to the Santhal Pargana Commissioner, Nagar Parishads and Deputy Commissioners of Dumka and Deoghar districts for proper utilisation of the funds and if there was any need for more funds the government be informed, the release added.
