SAD-BJP combine candidate for Amritsar Lok Sabha seat Arun Jaitley today reached out to the Christian community members, seeking their support.
He said that Amritsar constituency comprised people coming from diverse religions and culture and he wanted to represent everyone of them in Parliament.
Jaitley, accompanied by BJP state chief Kamal Sharma, Minister Anil Joshi and party Vice President Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, asked the Christian community members to extend him support and promised to take up issues pertaining to the community in particular and society in general.
He said BJP respected minority communities and understood their problems.
