Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will share the experiences of one week of the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in a BJP workers' meeting here on July 6.
Touted as the biggest taxation reform since Independence, GST will unify 16 different taxes including excise, service tax and VAT, and come into effect from July 1.
"Jaitley will address the programme. It will be held on July 6 and attended by traders and other business representatives, besides party workers," said Delhi BJP vice president Rajiv Babbar.

The Delhi BJP held a meeting today to discuss preparations for the programme likely to be held at the Talkatora stadium, said party general secretary Rajesh Bhatia.
"The party workers will not only gain insights into the the GST through the finance minister's address, they will also be prepared to dispel rumours being spread about the measure," Bhatia said.
The ongoing membership drive of the Delhi BJP will conclude on July 6. The achievements of the campaign will also be highlighted at the programme.
The national general secretary (organisation) of BJP Ram Lal, Delhi unit president Manoj Tiwari and party MP Ramesh Bidhuri today joined party workers in the door-to-door campaign in Palla village in South Delhi.
