James Blunt will be Ed Sheeran's supporting act on tour

Singer James Blunt will be Ed Sheeran's supporting act on the American leg of his world tour.

The 26-year-old singer took to social media to reveal that his close friend and "You're Beautiful" hitmaker will be accompanying him on the USA tour.

"Got the fantastic @jamesblunt opening up the whole USA tour (sic)."

And the "Castle on the Hill" hitmaker has teased that the 43-year-old's set is brilliant' and the audience will be blown away by his performance.

Sheeran added, "His set is brilliant, you're in for a treat x (sic).
