Jammu: Girl dies after rifle goes off accidentally

An 18-year-old girl died after allegedly being hit by a bullet while fiddling with a rifle at her residence in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.

The incident happened yesterday at her residence in Barsana area of Doda district yesterday, police officials said.

She was shifted to GMC hospital in Jammu, where she died, they said adding that a case has been registered.
