Confident of winning 2019 general elections and Odisha assembly poll, Union minister Prakash Javadekar today said the party is working to strengthen its base in the state.
Javadekar, who is party-incharge in four Lok Sabha seats in the state, reviewed organizational activities at the booth level in Berhampur parliamentary constituency for upcoming Lok Sabha and state assembly polls.
"We are reviewing the partys activities at booth level of the Parliamentary constituency assembly wise discussing with the party functionaries in each segments, said Javadekar.
He said in the next 15 days, the party will review the organizational activities.
On the first day,he held discussion with the party functionaries of Gopalpur, Chikiti, Mohana, Paralakhemundi and Berhampur assembly segments. Tomorrow he will meet the party functionaries of Chhatrapur and Digaphandi, party sources said.
Earlier, on July 1, BJPs national president Amit Shah during his visit to Odisha, had assigned tasks to different office bearers as part of the partys "Mission 120 plus".
