Jaya expels MLA from AIADMK

AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa today expelled senior leader and Harbour constituency MLA Pala. Karuppiah from the party for "going against" its principles.

Karuppiah has been "removed from all posts including primary membership for going against party principles and bringing disrepute (to it)," she said in a statement.

She urged her party members not to have any truck with him.
