Press Trust of India Jamshedpur
Jharkhand Disom Party (JDP) today demanded action against union minister V K Singh under SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Ordinance, 2014 for his controversial dog remark over the burning of two Dalit children in Faridabad recently.

"We have registered a written complaint against Singh at Parsudih police station here and demanded necessary action against him for his dog analogy," JDP President Salkhan Murmu said.

He alleged that minister has insulted the adivasis (ST) and Dalits and hurt them mentally and emotionally, and committed criminal offence under relevant sections of SC/ST Amendment Ordinance with his irresponsible comment despite being a public servant.
