Jeep Overturns, two killed

Two women were killed when the jeep they were travelling overturned in Bahjoi area of the district here, police said today.

The victims, Rekha (32) and Amlesh (35) were killed when the jeep in which they were travelling overturned in a bid to save another vehicle yesterday, Police station in-charge Rajveer Singh Yadav said.

Another woman was seriously injured in the accident and was referred to the hospital in Moradabad, he added.

Eight more persons sustained minor injuries in the accident and were discharged after the treatment, he added.
