Jeweller shot at and robbed

A 28-year-old jeweller was shot at and injured by unidentified assailants who also robbed him of cash and jewellery in Panchperwa area, police said here.

Pawan Kumar was shot by unidentified assailants who escaped with his bag containing jewellery and cash worth rupees when he was going to open his shop, police said.

Two teams have been constituted to arrest the criminals, they said.

Kumar has been admitted to a hospital.
