Raghuvar Das today assured the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) supremo, Babulal Marandi that his government will not tolerate the brokers and middlemen and initiate stringent action if found deceiving poor Raiyats (land owners) in the state.
"We will take stringent action as per the constitution against the brokers, middlemen as well as corrupt government officials and employees if found indulged in such act and seized the property earned through such illegal means", Das assured his predecessor Marandi, who along with Pradip Yadav, party general secretary, and the land owners met the chief minister to lodge complaint in this regard.
The government wanted to ensure that the people sector across should lead a dignified live and involve in the development process, he said.
The chief minister also suggested to poor land owners from Dhanbad to directly register a complaint with him if any government official or employees would threat them while assuring to initiate action against the erring officials promptly.
The Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba, Principal secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar and Secretary Revenue and Land Reforms K K Sone were among others present on the occasion.
