Jharkhand govt bans polythene bags below 40 micron

Jharkhand government today banned polythene bags below 40 micron as part of its drive against pollution in the state.

The state cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, today decided to put a ban on the polythene bags below 40 micron, J B Tubid, the Principal Secretary of the Cabinet Coordination Department, said here.
