Jharkhand thrash Rajasthan 11-0

Jharkhand thrashed Rajasthan 11-0 in their opening league game of Pool C of the 3rd Hockey India Junior Women National Championship at Astroturf Hockey Stadium in Ranchi today.

Jharkhand, who led 7-0 at the half time, scored through Poonam Madhuri Tete (2, 25, 29, 59, 70), Rukmani Dodray (10), Anima Minz (14), Birsi Mundu (15) and Rajni Soreng (33, 50, 66) minute, while Rajasthan failed to score any goal.

In Pool E, Odisha outplayed Chhattisgarh 15-0.

Birajini Ekka and Surabhi Pradhan scored three goals each for Odisha.

In Pool A, Manipur registered 2-1 win over Uttarakhand, while in Pool G, Assam edged out Tripura 13-1.
