The Jharkhand government will offer health insurance scheme to media persons, a senior official said on Saturday.
Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Barnwal said that the insurance cover extended to the media persons will be similar to the 'Ayushman Bharat Yojana'.
Families of scribes will also be able to take benefit of the health insurance, Barnwal, who is also Jharkhand Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD) Secretary, was quoted as saying in a release.
