JK Guv hosts 'At Home' for PM

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today hosted an 'At Home' reception at the Raj Bhavan here for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who is on a two-day visit to the state.

The Prime Minister met Indian and foreign scientists, including Noble Laureate Dr Y Lee, participating in the 101st Indian Science Congress which he will inaugurate tomorrow, an official spokesperson said.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Union Ministers S Jaipal Reddy and Dr Farooq Abdullah, Members of State Council of Ministers and prominent legislators were present on the occasion.
