The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and demanded imposition of governor's rule in the state, alleging terrorism has "grown" and law and order "worsened" under the BJP-PDP government.

A JKNPP delegation led by its chairman Harsh Dev Singh called up on the home minister andsubmitted a memorandum.

"A brief spell of governor's rule in the state should be followed by fresh elections, as the people of all the three regions have rejected the unholy, opportunist alliance of BJP and PDP," he said.
