The move came a day after Kailash Jakhar, an undertrial accused in the Bhanwari Devi abduction and murder case, fled from the court premises here with the help of his accomplices.

The district administration has decided to install CCTV cameras in the court premises, besides regulating the vehicle parking, the officials said, adding that Jodhpur Development Authority and Municipal Corporation will jointly develop the parking lot.

A consensus on trials of important cases via video conferencing was reached at a high level meeting attended by senior officers of judiciary, police and administration, they said.

It was also decided that criminals will be produced with hand-cuff in the court and assemblage of large number of people in the court premises during hearing of a case will not be allowed, the officials said.
