John Legend, Chrissy Teigen welcome daughter Luna Simone

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have announced the birth of their first child, a daughter named Luna Simone Stephens.

The couple announced the news in a separate social media posts, with the model saying she was "so in love" with her new daughter.

"She's here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy," Chrissy wrote on Instagram, accompanied by a picture of a screen which showed Luna weighed 6lbs 11oz.

John later added on twitter, "Our new love is here! Luna Simone Stephens, born on Thursday, the 14th.
