Johnson wants EU to leave 'doorways' for UK cooperation

New British foreign minister Boris Johnson today urged the European Union to leave room for future cooperation on strategic issues even though Britain is leaving the bloc.
"We are very keen to see the EU develop and go forward. What we would say is to make sure that there are kinds of docking stations and doorways open for further UK involvement down the track," Johnson said after a first meeting with his EU peers in Brussels.
