Justice Ramanathan retires

: Justice R S Ramanathan, Judge of Madras High Court, retired from service today on attaining superannuation.

Justice Ramanathan was appointed Additional Judge of the High Court on March 31 2009 and made a Permanent Judge on March 29 2011.

The Judge was given a farewell by court staff.

With the retirement of Justice Ramanathan,the strength of judges of Madras High Court has come down to 38 in a sanctioned strength of 60.
