Justice Yaqoob nominated as Executive Chairman, SLSA

Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, Judge of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court has been nominated as Executive Chairman of the State Legal Services Authority (SLSA).

In exercise of the powers conferred under of the J&K Legal Services Authorities Act, 1997, the State Government in consultation with Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir has nominated Justice Mir as Executive Chairman of the State Legal Services Authority (SLSA), an official spokesman said today.

The nomination shall be for a period of three years from the date of issuance of this notification, he said.
