JVM candidate's brother abducted

The brother of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha candidate of Dumri Assembly seat has been allegedly abducted by unidentified persons, police officials said today.

According to the FIR, Sandip Sahu, brother of JVM nominee Pradip Sahu was abducted by unknown persons three days ago from Dumri constituency in Giridih district.

Raids have been launched to trace Sandip, they said.

Demanding immediate rescue of Sandip, the Traders Manch observed a day-long shutdown in Dumri market today.
