The Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) today said it was keen for a political tie-up with the Aam Admi Party (AAP) in the state and dismissed reports that it was a one-sided effort by the JVM.

"The common agenda of both JVM and AAP is anti-corruption. So we welcome talks between the two parties," JVM's principal general secretary Pradip Yadav told a news conference here.

Yadav said JVM's Lok Sabha member Ajay Kumar had some discussions with the leaders.

Claiming he had "political discussions" with the AAP's top level leadership, Kumar disagreed to a query that AAP had reportedly said it was JVM's one-sided effort.

"Who said it, tell me one name... I spoke to the top leadership; at Prasantji's (Bhusan) level," Kumar, who was present at the press conference, retorted to the question.

"It was only political discussions," he said when asked to throw light on any tie-up with AAP in Jharkhand.
