Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) candidate Amitabh Choudhary and CPI (ML)-Liberation nominee Anjani Pandey today filed their nomination papers for the Ranchi constituency going for polls on April 17.
Both submitted their papers to the returning officer cum Deputy Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey separately.
Choudhary, an ex-IPS officer and former Team India manager and Pandey face challenge from sitting Congress MP Subodh Kant Sahay and former BJP MP Ramtahal Choudhary.
Both the Congress and the BJP candidates have not yet filed nomination papers.
