Kalyan: local Sena leaders perform bhoomi pooja ahead of CM

In a show of defiance, local Shiv Sena leaders in Kalyan-Dombivili area today performed bhoomi pooja for a major project ahead of tomorrow's scheduled program of the Chief Minister.

Planning agency MMRDA has organised bhoomi pooja (ground breaking) of two bridges on the road linking Motagaon and Durgadi fort on Ulhas River tomorrow morning at the hands of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Thane guardian minister Ekanth Shinde and Bhiwandi MP Kapil Patil would also be present on the occasion.

However, Shiv Sena leaders in Kalyan are disgruntled as the function is being held outside the city.

This morning Kalyan city Shiv Sena president Vishwanath Bhoir and Dombivili Shiv Sena president Bhausaheb Chowdhari performed bhoomi pooja of two bridges alongwith hundreds of party workers.
