BJP MP and former chief minister Shanta Kumar said today that Kangra and Mandi divisions of Himachal Pradesh would witness unprecedented development under the party-led governments at the Centre and in the state.
"Both the governments are headed by a dynamic leadership -- Narendra Modi at the Centre and Jai Ram Thakur in Himachal Pradesh," he said.
The BJP MP from Kangra said that he, along with other parliamentarians from the state, would raise various development issues of the region in Parliament.
"We will demand the start of four-laning work of the Pathankot-Mandi National Highway. We will also demand immediate survey for the Pathankot-Mandi-Leh-Laddakh rail link," he said.
"The new state government must send proposals for new projects to the Centre and all of the MPs from the state should work together to get them approved," Kumar added.
