Kanwaria drowns in Muzaffarnagar

A 30-year-old Kanwaria today drowned in a pond near village Fulat, police said.

Arvind Kumar drowned when he accidentally fell into the pond when he was on his way to Shiv Temple to offer Ganga water to Lord Shiva, they said.

Thousands of Kanwarias are on their way to Shiv Temple from Haridwar to offer Ganga water to Lord Shiva on August 1.
