Karur Vysya Bank on Thursday reported 9.18 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 90.50 crore for the quarter ended September. The Tamil Nadu-based lender had reported a net profit of Rs 83 crore in the year-ago period, it said in a BSE filing.
For the half-year period ended September 30, the net profit of the bank grew 4.61 per cent to Rs 212 crore from Rs 203 crore registered during the corresponding period of the previous year.
Total income from operations for the July-September period soared to Rs 1,495 crore from Rs 1,379 crore registered during the year-ago period.
The total income for the half-year period ending September stood at Rs 2,957.30 crore as against Rs 2,808.35 crore registered during the same period of previous year.
