Katy Perry dedicates NYFW performance to Mariah Carey

Pop singer Katy Perry has dedicated her New York Fashion Week (NYFW) performance to veteran diva Mariah Carey.

Perry, 30, who performed at NYFW party dedicated 'I Kissed A Girl' to Carey and 'Fireworks' to assistants working during the fashion week, reported Aceshowbiz.

"Mariah! This one's dedicated to you my lovely lady," Perry said to Carey, who attended the star-studded bash.

"You paved the way for so many of us. Now you can just enjoy yourself," she continued.

Carey, 45, took to Twitter to thank "California Gurls" hitmaker "Your performance was wonderful," she wrote.

During the gig Perry also played some of her other biggest hits, including "Roar", "Teenage Dream" and "Dark Horse".
