Kaup drowning: Two bodies found

The bodies of two persons who had been missing since Saturday after they drowned at the Kaup beach in Udupi, was found at Udayavara-Padukere area last evening, police said.

Of the three persons of a family who were washed away by the waves, the body of Jagadish Rao(40)was recovered on Saturday itself. The bodies of Sunil Rao (33) and Harsha (14) were found yesterday after two days of search by rescuers, police, fire force and local people, police said.

Two coastal security force boats and a hovercraft from the Coast Guard were pressed into service for the search operation.
