Many of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's aides are now following in his footsteps and practising Vipassana.

AAP's Delhi unit convener and Kejriwal's close confidant Dilip Pandey has left for a Vipassana course for the next 11 days.

"OFF to Vipassana for nxt 11 days, will have no access to Phone+Internet. Lots of wishes to all for festivals, medals to come????," tweeted Pandey who is known as a key aide of Kejriwal.

Vipassana is a form of meditation which requires a vow of silence.

Interestingly, another of his close confidants and Punjab's AAP co-convenor Durgesh Pathak also went to practise Vipassana along with Kejriwal early this month.

Kejriwal had gone for Vipassana early this month after a gap of nearly one-and-a-half year following a hectic campaign for Lok Sabha elections in May, 2014.

Manish Sisodia, Kejriwal's deputy, is also a known practitioner of Vipassana.

"The entire exercise was refreshing and eye-opener for knowing onself," Pathak said, adding that he intends to go again for a Vipassana session after the Punjab polls.
