Kerala condoles ex-governor's passing away

: Kerala Governor Justice (retd) P Sathasivam, today condled the passing away of R S Gavai, former governor of the state.

In a condolence message he said, "I am profoundly sad at the demise of R S Gavai, former Governor of Kerala and a reputed national leader. I convey my heart felt condolences to the bereaved family'.

Gavai, a veteran Dalit leader and former Governor of the state and also Bihar, died this afternoon after a prolonged illness at a private hospital in Nagpur.
