Kerala Governor extends New Year greetings

Kerala Governor Justice (Rtd) P Sathasivam has wished people of Kerala and Malayalis the world over 'a happy, peaceful and prosperous new year'.

"On this auspicious occasion, we have to look back in retrospect and look forward with a renewed sense of purpose and dedication," he said in his greetings message.

He also reminded people that upholding social harmony is a bounded duty of everyone. "It is our bounded duty to uphold social harmony for which Kerala has ever been a model to other states," he added.

The Governor also wished that the New Year would bring a period of plenty, equality and well-being for everyone in the state.
