KGMU assistant professor arrested

An assistant professor at King George Medical University has been arrested in connection with an alleged admission racket, police said here.

Doctor K P Singh, an assistant professor in microbiology department of KGMU, was arrested from Vibhuti Khand in Gomti Nagar yesterday, it said.

Singh allegedly took Rs 31 lakh from two candidates for admission in MBBS course, police said.
