Khaleda Zia greets Modi on huge victory

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chief and former prime minister Khaleda Zia today congratulated Narendra Modi as he led the BJP to a resounding victory in the Indian general elections.

"She (Zia) has sent a message of greetings (to Modi) through the Indian high commission in Dhaka," BNP vice chairman and party spokesman Shamser Mobin Chowdhury said.

Narendra Modi is all set to become the next prime minister of India as his party is heading towards a majority on its own and form the next government.
