Kidnappers threaten to rape, murder girl

The kidnappers of a 12-year-old girl have threatened to rape and murder her if a ransom amont of Rs 5 lakh was not paid to them.

Police has arrested the man who made the ransom call, but are yet to trace the girl who went missing on October 5 from Gharbara area.

Her relatives had received ransom call from the kidnappers demanding Rs 5 lakh, which if not paid, they would rape and murder the girl.

"On a complaint, FIR has been lodged. Police teams have been formed who are searching for the girl," SP (rural) Brijesh Kumar Singh said.
