Terminated police inspector Sanjay Rai, accused in killing of a 14-year-old boy, was today remanded to three-day police custody by a local court.
Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lucknow, Pramod Kumar Tyagi sent Sanjay Rai in the police custody on a plea moved by the police seeking 12-day remand of the accused.
Rai had surrendered on July 15.

During interrogation, they accused Rai of giving them contract to kill the boy.
After surrendering, Rai also moved bail application which was rejected by the court.
