: Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today hoped that Diwali, the festival of lights that illuminates homes and hearts of the people, 'might guide us to share the spirit of joy with all'.
In her Diwali message to the people,she said the festival signified the victory of good over evil and victory of light over darkness.
"Let the festival create a festive atmosphere in which the poor and the underprivileged joined", she said and wished that the festival brightens the lives of the people with good health, wealth, knowledge,fame and usher in joy and happiness.
PCC president A Namassivayam also greeted the people.
