KNR Constructions bags Rs 729-cr road upgradation orders

KNR Constructions today said it has bagged orders worth Rs 729 crore from a Tamil Nadu government undertaking for upgradation of roads.

"We have been awarded by Project Director, Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project II, Chennai, three orders worth Rs 729 crore," the company said.

The first order is for developing "Kanchipuram-Vandavasi road and Sdras-Chengalpattu-Kancheepuram-Arakonam-Thiruthani road" which is to be completed within a period of 36 months from the appointed date, it said.

The second project is for upgrading "Arcot Villupuram Road" which is to be completed within a period of 42 months from the appointed date.

Malliyakarai-Rasipuram-Thiruchengode-Erode Road," it said.

Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project with the assistance of World Bank Loan and the fund of Tamil Nadu government is undertaking work, including construction of roads conforming to international standards.
