Kuljit Singh Kropha in the new Meghalaya Chief Secretary

Senior IAS officer Kuljit Singh Kropha today took charge as Meghalaya Chief Secretary as P Barkos O Warjri superannuated.

The 1982 batch officer hailing from Himachal Pradesh has been additional chief secretary in-charge of Home (Police) and Political departments before taking charge from Warjri.

Warjri had relieved W M S Pariat of the post in 2014, while Kropha would superannuate in December next year.
