Labourer dies after falling from under-construction DMRC hostel

A 35-year-old labourer died after falling from ninth floor of an under-construction DMRC hostel in northwest Delhi's Shastri Park today, police said.

The deceased, Kunkun Paswan, belonged to Bihar. He was working as a labourer at the under-construction DMRC hostel, they added.

Police has registered a case against the supervisor there and are probing whether there were others whose negligence triggered the incident.

There were 20 labourers who were present at the time of the incident, they said.
