Labourer killed as crane crashes

A labourer was killed and three others were injured after a crane collapsed at the site of under-construction building in Phase III of Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park in Hinjawadi area here this afternoon.

The incident took place at around 3 pm.

"The crane developed a snag when it was being elevated at the under-construction site in phase III of IT hub and collapsed," a police officer said.

Four injured workers were rushed to a nearby hospital where one of them succumbed to the injuries.
