Lady cop's husband fires in air with her service revolver

An angry husband of a female police officer opened fire in the air today morning from her service revolver, over a minor domestic dispute, police said.

After a minor domestic dispute, the husband, identified as Yogesh Devre, a resident of CIDCO locality, allegedly snatched his wife, Assistant Police Inspector Vijaymala's service revolver, and fired in the air, however, nobody was hurt in the incident, they said.

Vijaymala is with the Gangapur Police Station, police said, adding that an offence has been registered against her trigger-happy husband.
